My Legal Depot, a California Corporation (the “Provider”) shall provide legal document filing services for you (the “Client”). Provider will use its best efforts to perform the services in a commercially reasonable manner.
Service Fee:
Electronically filed documents shall cost $35.00 per document. Paper filed documents via messenger shall cost $75.00 per document. Rates are subject to change with notice.
Government Filing Fees and Transfer Taxes:
Client shall reimburse Provider for filing fees and transfer taxes paid. If transfer taxes exceed $1,000.00, Provider may require advance deposit of funds. Credit Card payments for any transfer taxes will be assessed an additional three and a half percent (3.50%) service fee in order to recover transaction fees that Provider pays. This transaction fee can be avoided by using ACH payments, wire transfers, or providing a paper check.
Chargebacks/Dishonored Payments:
A processing fee of $50.00 minimum per incident will be assessed for any returned payment plus an additional interest rate of fifteen percent (15.00%) per annum, or the highest rate allowed by applicable law, whichever is lowest.
Payment:
Upon successful filing of the documents, the service fee, filing fees, and any transfer taxes are due immediately. Client is required to store a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, or Bank Account (ACH transactions) with Provider for billing.
Free Review for CA, NV, and AZ documents:
Every document submitted in CA, NV, and AZ will receive a no cost review by Provider. This review does “not” guarantee the accuracy or validity of the document. Provider is “not” reviewing the document for accurate legal descriptions or validity. Provider is reviewing the document to prevent a document rejection. Provider assumes no liability for failing to discover a defect. Documents outside of CA, NV, and AZ will not receive document review and is submitted as is.
Free Correction Services:
Clients who hold an active state bar license will receive free document correction services, recommendations, and legal support from Provider. Provider’s recommendations and legal support is not a promise or guarantee for a specific outcome. Client accepts responsibility for his/her/their decisions.
All other Clients will also receive free correction services but will “not” receive recommendations and legal support. All other Clients must specifically instruct Provider on the corrections they would like to implement. Provider may furnish manuals, county rejection notes, and various publications to aid the Client in making his/her/their decisions.
Consent for Minor Corrections:
Client grants Provider consent to make minor corrections. Minor corrections shall be defined as adding coversheets, legibility declarations, correcting typographical errors, and other obvious and minor corrections. If a material correction is required, Provider will contact Client for additional consent.
Filing Assurance:
If a document is rejected, Provider will not charge any service fees. Service fees will only be due upon successful recording.
Right to Refuse Service:
Provider reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Provider will not be liable for any damages or loss from our right to refuse service.
Original Documents:
Documents must be original with a wet ink signature and/or notarization. Client must deliver the original documents to Provider at its corporate office located at 8808 Mission Drive Suite 108, Rosemead, CA 91770. Only the Provider is authorized to scan and submit documents electronically. Exception: Remote online notarized documents and electronically issued certified copies may be emailed to Provider instead.
Filing Delays:
Delays are uncommon, but may occur due to natural disasters, fires, civil disturbances, disruption of telecommunications, transportation, utilities, services or supplies, government action, computer disruption, data corruption, incompatible or defective equipment, software or services, and other reasons. Provider will not be liable for any damages or loss resulting from any delays of service.
Limitations of Use:
All material published on our site, including, but not limited to, written content, photographs, graphics, images, illustrations, marks, logos, flash animation, and other content contained herein, are the property of Provider and is protected by the United States and international copyright law. All rights to such materials are reserved to their respective copyright owners.
Permission is granted to download, view, copy, and to print in hard copy portions of this web site solely for personal, informational, and non-commercial uses. Any other use of materials on this site, including without limitation reproduction for purposes other than noted above, modification, distribution, replication, commercial or other exploitation, or creation of derivative works, without the prior written permission of Provider is strictly prohibited.

CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT USE OF PROVIDER’S SERVICES IS AT THE SOLE RISK OF CLIENT. THE PROVIDER MAKES NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATIONS TO CLIENT REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY INFORMATION OR DOCUMENTS PROVIDED BY CLIENT. PROVIDER DOES NOT WARRANT TO CLIENT THAT THE FILING SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NONINFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
